Chelsea Lankford

As Office Manager, Chelsea supports day-to-day operations at the museum. Originally from Washington State, she previously worked in marketing and administration for an architecture firm in the Pacific Northwest. Throughout her professional life, she has spent time in various roles at her local public library, which developed a passion for lifelong learning and resource accessibility. The Eli Whitney Museum and Workshop carries these values forward, and she is grateful to be working with an incredibly kind and creative team on such a beautiful campus.

Michael Forino

Michael Forino is the Director of Preservation and Partnerships at Preservation Connecticut. He is a historian of technology who earned his Ph.D. from the Hagley Program in the History of Capitalism, Technology, and Culture at the University of Delaware. 

JR Wallis

JR started as an apprentice at the Eli Whitney Museum and Workshop in the Fall of 2021. He graduated from Hamden Hall Country Day School last June and is currently in his freshman year at UMass Amherst. He is Studying Turfgrass Management and plans to become a Golf Course Superintendent. 

Aidan Koehler

Aidan is a math and physics teacher with a passion for the arts.  Whether teaching middle school math or college physics or building giant puppets, Aidan is happy problem-solving with others.  Singing about science and asking big questions are two more of her favorite pastimes.  She has two kids who have attended Eli Whitney camps and always have a blast.  Aidan loved her experience last year and can't wait to join Eli Whitney camp again this summer.
