Directions

I-91 North or South

• Turn right onto Whitney Avenue.

• The Museum is on the right side of the street before the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on your left.

From I-95

• Get onto I-91 North.

• At the end of the ramp, turn left (south) onto Whitney Avenue.
• Continue on Whitney Avenue for 3.2 miles.
• The Museum is on the left side of the street after the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on the right.

Merritt Parkway (Rt.15) South

• Take Exit 51, Whitney Avenue, in Hamden.
• At the end of the ramp, turn right (south) onto Whitney Avenue.
• Continue on Whitney Avenue for 3.2 miles.
• The Museum is on the left side of the street after the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on the right.

From the New Haven Green

• Travel North of Church Street for 0.3 miles.
• Church Street becomes Whitney Avenue at Grove Street.
• Continue on Whitney Avenue for 1.8 miles.
• The Museum is on the right side of the street before the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on your left.

From the New Haven Green

• Take the 228 or 229
• Continue on Whitney Ave for 19 stops
• Depart the bus at the Eli Whitney Museum
