Description:

Weather affects so much of what we do, and we depend on predicting weather in more ways than we realize. To create a weather broadcast, however, you need to gather data and interpret the meanings. Our Weather Station measures:

  1. Temperature
  2. Wind direction
  3. Wind speed 
  4. Rainfall 

We discuss how the weather changes and describe cloud formations. Students will learn how to make readings from their instrument and make predictions based on those readings.
