STEAM Playground

The Museum will become a STEAM playground to experiment with force & motion, planning & building. Using PVC tubes, engineer everything from bridges to robots, castles to cars. Work with groups and bring your constructions together to create mazes and buildings. Take on design challenges with your fellow campers.
Then, build a Gravity Car and test it out on ramps and slides while experimenting with force, speed, weight, and momentum. This is your opportunity to make predictions and record your hypotheses. Distribute weights in various ways and learn what works best on different surfaces taking friction into account.
