Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop Overview
It is our mission at the Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop To foster curiosity and ingenuity by learning to observe, experiment, and create.
Our Workshop produces parts for 80,000 projects each year.
Ideal candidates will bring the following to this position:
- General knowledge of Workshop Safety (table saw etc).
- Digital design skills; prior experience with CNC production helpful but not necessary.
- Experience organizing and scheduling work.
- Established design and project development skills.
- Solid computer skills, including database management.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- In the absence of any of the above, evidence of aptitude and enthusiasm for learning.
