The traditional jig doll has been entertaining people all over the world for centuries. A simple design using blocks of wood attached in various ways seems pretty straightforward. These simple dolls become something else altogether with the help of a wooden dowel that is used to create  lifelike movements. Add a wooden board and some music and the jig doll will tap and move to your favorite tunes! We will also make our whirligig spinner, which is a traditional fidget toy that will keep you entertained for as long as you can keep it turning.  them at the end of the day in our water lab.
