Christine was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to New Haven at age nine where she grew up and developed a lasting connection to the community. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, earning a degree in Human Services with a concentration in Education. Her career has included early childhood and school-age education, summer programming, staff development, program planning, and nonprofit leadership.
Christine believes strongly in the importance of multiculturalism and inclusion and is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people of all backgrounds feel valued, represented, and connected. A lifelong maker, she also enjoys sewing, creative reuse, and transforming everyday materials into something new.
As Director of Engagement at the Eli Whitney Museum & Workshop, Christine brings together her passion for education, creativity, inclusion, and community building to create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to explore, make, and learn.
