Install a Unix based Operating System on a virtual machine. Install the Apache webserver, learn the basics of the Unix terminal, utilities, users, file permissions, compiling, and more.
Begin by installing the operating system, then learn about file permissions, then compile and run some useful/fun programs, and then set up a webserver, and then who knows? Install a graphic interface.
At the end of the week you can take your virtual machine and burn it onto a CD, so you can keep working on it at home using the VMWare player, or you could use what you learned to install Linux or Unix on a computer you have at home.
