Let There be Light Foundation International is providing safe, efficient solar powered lights to children and elders in Uganda. On this Martin Luther King Day, join us in sponsoring some of those lights.

We will experiment with the art and science of the Light Emitting Diodes, the LEDs that are saving energy in Ugandan villages and your home. We will look at the people, the geography and the rich wildlife that make Uganda unique.

Construct an Africa pendant that will remind you where the lights you are are contributing will shine.
Construct an experiment that will let you blend lights to make unexpected multicolor shadows.
Then choose a third project: a mini traffic light, an LED top, or a sculpture of your own design (in different challenge levels for different ages and experience).

Sustainability = justice. When we use resources carefully, we can share them generously.
