  • 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Designed for ages 9 to 12

The Swiss-born engineer Hans Camenzind died this Fall. Forty years ago, he invented the 555 Chip, an essential building block of the digital world. Spend a day experimenting with this versatile controller. Manipulate light, sound, and time. Let the first chip you master be this last chip with one man's name and story behind it.

The Workshop is designed for 9 year olds and above who are ready to learn to solder (or improve their soldering skills).

Build a Beating Heart Detector and a second project of your choice.
