On November 4, 1922 King Tutenkhamun’s tomb was discovered by Howard Carter and a team of archaeologists. One hundred years later the allure of King Tut remains as strong as ever.

King Tutankhamun became ruler of Egypt when he was nine years old. His reign ended when he died unexpectedly only ten years later. Mysteries surround the tomb of Tutankhamun and questions remain despite the treasure trove of items found within. Learn more about the curse of the Pharaohs, the mystery of Tutankhamun’s death, and who else might be buried in his tomb.
