Have you ever wondered where those colors come from in your paint palette? Get the Dirt on Paint!

Experiment in the Natural Pigment Workshop in the Gilbert Studio at the Eli Whitney Museum, 915 Whitney Avenue.

Join artists Judith Kruger and Joy Bush on Sunday, October 16th from 11 am - 3 pm for a drop-in natural pigment-making workshop. Using rocks, shells, tree soot, and more found in East Rock Park create your medium and make a painting to take home. Leave your mark on a community collaborative piece that will be kept on display.

While you are here stop by the Barn and follow the signs to a nature-based art installation by Judith and Joy. This peaceful display, A Pause in Time, is part of The EXCHANGE, a statewide Artist treasure hunt.

Come and go as you please.
