2019 Summer Program

A combined week of learning new, (or even honing old), skills.

Basic jewelry making techniques using materials such as beads and wire to create bracelets, earrings or necklaces will be offered. Beginner sewing techniques on our Janomé sewing machines to make jewelry pouches will get you started. You will make a jewelry stand to hold your handmade treasures.

Then, depending on the class's interests and your own skills, you will have the opportunity to expand your projects to perhaps make a mini messenger bag or Chapstick keychain holder (for backpacks) – headbands, pillows or fabric covered notebooks. There will be many possibilities with the skills learned during this week.
