The Hubble Space Telescope just turned 25. Its short lifetime as an explorer has been filled with adventures and unexpected discoveries. It has sent us back stunning pictures of the places it has seen. Like all great adventurers, the Hubble encountered challenges: most famously, a miscalculation in the grinding of its Connecticut-ground main mirror. Dedication and ingenuity triumphed. And we know our universe better.

Construct a model of the Hubble to make sense of the many tools that make it work. Build a Space Shuttle-shaped base that carries the astronauts who have visited the spacecraft to repair and maintain it. Make replicas of the most important sights the Hubble has captured. Explore the Hubble's tools and fan sites. Get to know one of the most famous explorers of your lifetime.
