Charles (1907 - 1978) and Ray (1912 - 1988) Eames designed everything: toys, chairs, houses, films and museum exhibitions. They were practical visionaries. They found new uses for new ways of making things. Construct a study of their house (with a video tribute from Ice Cube). Play with their ideas of modular construction. Choose to mold and laminate an elephant or chair. Spin their tops. Enjoy their films. Understand what modern means.
