Anatomy of the Eye: Camera Obscura
Level: Grades 3 – 8 Time: 1.5 hours

Construct a box that captures and focused images. Use it as an artist’s camera obscura…a drawing tool. Or make it into a model of the eye. Then rearrange the elements.

Add a light. And recreate one of Leonardo da Vinci’s greatest leaps of invention: a projector.

Camera Obscura/Projector: $10 per student.
