Building Literacy
Level: Grades K – 5    

We build models to help bring life to stories. We have created projects for 11 of Leo Lionni’s stories like Frederick or Six Crows.

We offer a light-up firefly to accompany Eric Carle’s The Very Lonely Firefly.

We have created African Ndebele houses to accompany Maya Angelou’s My Painted House, My Friendly Chicken, and Me.

We welcome your requests. We will develop a project to expand or interpret a story that is important in your curriculum.

Cost: $8 per student (prices vary with the scope of project)
