Consider the parts of a bug. Three body sections, six legs, eyes, antennae, mouth parts, wings (or not). Choose an insect to make or invent your own. Set it on a stand for observation.

Cost: $8 per student

Skills: sanding, cutting, hammering (predrilled holes), coloring, gluing.
