I91 North or South:
Take Exit 6, Willow Street. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Willow. Go straight on Willow until the road ends. Turn right on Whitney for 9/10ths of a mile. The Museum is on the right side of the street before the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on your left.

From I95:
Get on I91 North. Take Exit 6, Willow Street. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Willow. Go straight on Willow until the road ends. Turn right on Whitney for 9/10ths of a mile. The Museum is on the right side of the street before the waterfall. The Barn is directly across the street on your left.

Merritt Parkway (Rt.15) North:
Take Exit 61, Whitney Avenue, in Hamden.
At the end of the ramp, turn left (south) onto Whitney Avenue.
Follow Whitney Avenue 3 miles until you come to the light at the intersection at Armory Street. (Armory Street will jut out to your right and the reservoir is on your left) Proceed straight through the traffic light. The Museum is on your left just beyond the light, the Barn is on your right across from the Museum.

Merritt Parkway (Rt.15) South:
Take Exit 61, Whitney Avenue, in Hamden.
At the end of the ramp, turn right (south) onto Whitney Avenue.
Follow Whitney Avenue 3 miles until you come to the light at the intersection of armory street. (Armory Street will jut out to your right and the reservoir is on your left) Proceed straight through the traffic light. The Museum is on your left just beyond the light, the Barn is on your right across from the Museum.

From the New Haven Green:
Travel North for 2 miles on Church St. Church Street becomes Whitney at Grove Street.
The Museum is on the right side just before the light at Armory St.
The bus that runs along Whitney is the 'J' Bus and will stop at the Museum if asked.
