  • Designed for ages 11 to 14

This Advanced Scratch program is intended for experienced Scratch programmers. New "Scratchers" will want to watch for our up-coming weekend program "Scratch and Code.org".

Trouble is brewing in Robotropolis. The robots are low on energy, and they have forgotten their programs! Now they can not even re-charge themselves.

Using "Scratch," we'll start with simple-minded robots that can turn and move. You will teach them how to navigate to their energy supplies. Advance through a series of puzzles by creating new program blocks to improve your robot's capabilities. You've already "scratched" the surface. Now come back for a real challenge.

Scratch allows you to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art - and share your creations on the web. You will need an e-mail address (either your own or a parent's) in order to share your work online. Or, you can bring your project home on a USB drive or CD.
