A workshop of gift making. Choose two of these projects to make: gifts for the holidays, the solstice, for any occasion you choose, or for yourself.

Beeswax Candle with a hand polished pine or oak base.
Guest artisan: Eunice Mahler
Dip a beautiful candle using an ancient technique and materials.
Craft an elegant base in wood.

Celebrate Light.
Construct a simple LED lamp with a figure from any of the traditions that honor the sun's tilt toward longer days. Batteries included.

Polymer Necklace
Guest Artisans: Aru Rajeevan, Hannah Clark
Construct and bake colorful beads for an artful necklace on a silk cord.

Handmade Ice Cream
Guest Artisan: Annalise Phillips
Learn the culinary chemistry of ice cream, an ancient Persian delicacy. Concoct small treats to share at home.
